International Railway Technology

Students broadened their perspectives in international railway system operations. They understood the complexity of interdependencies among subsystems within the railway system and developed an approach towards integrating that knowledge into practice. The BIP also focused on exploring current international research activities in the field.

Moreover, the participants were able to calculate a carbon footprint using the simple example of their own “living environment” and applied this knowledge in their private and company use cases.
